Don’t be shy, just play and have fun! If your tempo is a little different or you’re playing a different rhythm, that’s ok. Taiko offer a unique experience for each and every one of us. From first-timers to seasoned veterans, everyone is welcome to come work up a sweat and summon great sounds from the drums together.
Instructor Profile
Eiichi Saito joined Kodo in 1982 and has been a featured player on domestic and international tours, in collaborations with artists of various genres, and on recordings ever since. For over three decades he has invigorated and captivated audiences worldwide with his energetic performances. In addition to his stage activities, Eiichi also leads the extremely popular “Kodo Juku” workshops on Sado Island, which convey the power of taiko through self-discovery.
