Instructor Profile

Kazuki Imagai

He entered the Kodo Apprentice Centre in 1994 and became a Kodo member in 1996. He is a multifaceted performer who is featured on taiko drums, metal percussion instruments and also as a dancer. He has been touring with the Kodo School-Workshop Performance Tour since its inaugural performance in 1999 and has a great deal of experience working with children. At Kodo, he is the icebreaker and mood maker in collaborations with artists across multiple genres.

What are “Chappa”?
