Introduction

Experience life on a farm by staying overnight in a farmhouse inn! The host is a unique family enjoying life on a farm. Your visit to Sado isn’t complete without experiencing everyday life as an island farmer.

Location

(1)Farm193
Run by a family in the Kanai region Farm 193 is a large-scale fruit farm. You will be greeted by the mother of the family who leads the farm’s dried fruit production.

(2)Outdoor Island Yu (Play)
You’ll be staying in the mountain cottage-style loft in the farm house, headed by the father of the family who is totally knowledgeable about the mountains of Sado and their features. This space also has a 25 years history as a Montbell Outdoor Shop.
*The inn is normally a residence for a regular family, but with a lodging and farmhouse inn permit. As for the meals, they hold a food and drink service permit that adheres to standard food safety practices.
*Groups with both men and women may be housed in separate quarters by gender.
*Groups of more than 3 and up to 5 participants may be exclusively housed in one unit.
*Participants may be sharing rooms.
*The bath is a standard bath that you would find in a home.

What to bring(required) Bath towel and toiletries, sleepwear, comfortable clothes that can get dirty(for the farming experience).
Notes There will be a car to pick up any guests planning to attend the 8/21 Shiroyama Concert that will take them to the inn. Guests who need transportation to Ogi after check-out on 8/22 can catch the Ogi bound Liner Bus from Ryotsu(departs Ryotsu at 12:20pm) at the Mano bus stop.(Arrangements can be made to transport guests from the inn to the bus stop.) Reservations for the Liner Bus must be made individually.(Consult the ‘Island Transportation’ section) Guests with specific check-in and check-out requests may consult the inn management up to one week prior to their stay.
