Introduction
The Sado Gold and Silver Mine produced ore for 400 years since 1601. Its chronicle is the history of Japanese modernization. This tour visits historical sites that are included in the petition to be designated as a World Heritage Site. (The tour visits modern mining facilities that were in use after Meiji period.)
