Introduction
This workshop is designed for parents and children to have fun playing taiko with the Sado Island Taiko Centre’s energetic instructor, Shin-chan Sensei! Young children will play taiko with their parent. Let’s make some noise!
Instructor’s Profiles
Shinichi Sogo
Sogo was a member of Kodo for ten years beginning in 1981. In 2007 he began working as an instructor at Sado’s taiko experience and exchange center Tatako-kan. He became known fondly as “Shin-chan Sensei” and he has taught taiko to over 37,000 people.

* One drum per pair. * Workshop conducted in Japanese only. * From Aug. 21（Fri）through 23（Sun）, there will be a shuttle bus service operating between the Earth Celebration Information Centre and the Sado Island Taiko Centre（Tatakokan）.

After the workshops, you may take photographs with the instructor and the other participants, but please be considerate to others when doing so. |
