Mussanko Sado Matsuri~The Future of the Earth as Seen from Good Old Sado~

Under the theme of “bamboo,” the cultural resource of Sado, this festival celebrates the robust and supple lifestyle of Sado. Just a 10-minute walk from the Sawata bus station hub.   • Acoustic concert featuring local artists, mini-market, etc.

Living Amidst Nature on Sado Workshop

Venue: Guest Villa on the Bi-ichi

  • Workshops: how to make bamboo bags, wild grass tea, plant dyes, bamboo lanterns, bamboo insects Participation fee: 1000 yen ~ try them all!
  • Bamboo Crafts Exhibit: Mayumi Takano (bamboo bags), Carlos Enjike (bamboo tools)
  • Sado Bamboo Installation: An installation using the ruins of a bamboo forest is exhibited throughout the venue.

Immersion in Sado Life
