Ogi, the Town of Merchants: the Fan Market at Earth Celebration

Rife with merchant culture, the town of Ogi is shaped like a fan. In 2014, to celebrate 400 years since its open port, Ogi launched its special market. This year, a special version of the market will be open at Earth Celebration! Come enjoy the historic shopping arcades, and charming merchant town at this market.

Join Salsagumtape for a parade through the town of Ogi! Enjoy the historic views of the town during Ogi, the Town of Merchants: the Fan Market at Earth Celebration – and show off your own hand-made percussion instruments.
Date&time: Aug. 20 (Sun) 14:00〜15:00
Venue: Start at the Ogi Wharf Park and parade into the town of Ogi. The parade ends at Amidain Temple. MAP#24
