Welcome to the Niibo Area ~ Enjoy the Local Cuisine and Arts

As you enjoy the traditional performing arts like noroma ningyo shibai puppetry, harukoma dance, ondeko drumming, taste the local flavors of dojojiru (eel soup) and other traditional dishes. (includes a chance for participants to manipulate the noroma puppets)

Itinerary

11:30-12:30 Meet and register at Niibo Tokinomura Genki-kan
12:30-14:30 Local cuisine tasting (served in the order of seating) and performance (show begins at approx. 12:40)
14:30 Respond to survey at Niibo Tokinomura Genki-kan, dismissal

Transportation Options (Advance reservations required)

<Ryotsu → Niibo (getting there)>

12:10 departs Ryotsu port → 12:30 arrives Niibo Tokinomura Genkikan (free bus)

<Niibo → Ogi (getting back)>

15:00 departs Niibo Tokinomura Genkikan → 16:00 arrives Marine Plaza Ogi (liner bus: adult 1000 yen, elementary school children 500 yen, toddlers (on lap) free (toddlers occupying a seat must pay elementary school children fare))

15:15      Board bus at Niibo Post Office bus stop (Niigata Transportation Route Bus “South Line towards Ryotsu”)

15:44     Disembark at Ryotsu Port bus stop
