Iwakubi Rice Terrace and Country Hill Stroll

Sado is a designated Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System according to the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO). The Iwakubi region, which boasts the best views of Sado, protects its geological formations, natural features and daily lives while cultivating its rice terrace. The view has moved visitors with its sprawling landscape of rice terraces like dragons rising up towards the heavens.
