Special fringe: “Chindon Geinousha”

A God old fashioned and Sentimental artform, Chindon Geinousha is performing at the EC for the first time.

About the Chindon Geinousha:

After finishing an apprenticeship with the downtown Tokyo veteran “Ozuruya”, kyuu-chan founded and started performing Chindonya under the group name of “Yamatoya”.

Mika did an apprenticeship at “Takinoya Gorō Hachi” and “Midoriya, before working at ”Oumeya”. Kyuu-chan and Mika got married and founded the Chindon geinosha.

They won first prize at the Japan Chindonya Competition in 2015, 2016 and 2017 for three consecutive years. Keeping the tradition of Tokyo Chindonya alive to the present age.
