Harbour Market Live Concerts : Kodo All-Star Special Live Performance
Closing the EC Harbour Market Live concerts is a special live concert of 34 members of Kodo’s All-Star, featuring seasoned veterans to emerging star performers. We are planning a concert chock-full of things we can only do because we are in Sado, and because we are outdoors! Immerse yourself in the magical thrill of summer in Sado, and the singing, dancing and taiko of Kodo.

Adult (High school age and over) 5,000 yen, Children (elementary and middle school age) 1,500 yen (day-of tickets add 300 yen fee)

Kodo
Since the group’s debut at the Berlin Festival in 1981, Kodo has given over 6,000 performances in 50 countries on five continents. This figure includes 3,900 performances under the “One Earth” banner, a theme that embodies Kodo’s desire to transcend language and cultural boundaries, all while reminding their audiences of the common bonds we all share as human beings. In addition to its theater schedule, Kodo enjoys working with thousands of school children across Japan through its ongoing “School Workshop Performance” tours. The ensemble also participates in a wide range of projects and events, which includes headlining major international festivals, contributing to motion picture soundtracks, and collaborating with a wide variety of global performing arts leaders.

Ogi Port Park is the site for Harbour Market and the free admission Fringe stage during the daytime, as in previous festival years. However, from 18:00 til 20:30 (approx.) during the Harbour Market Live concerts, an area of the Market will be accessible by wristband holders only. All concerts at Harbour Market Live are general admission and there will not be timed entry.

Wristband pick-up times: 9:00~19:30*Your wristband is your proof of purchase. Please do not remove your wristband while inside the venue for the duration of the performance.
