The Earth Celebration Committee would like to send our sincere condolences to those who lost friends and loved ones due to the Hiroshima Landslide and express our heartfelt sympathy to all the victims.

In order to help those victims, we set up donation boxes during the Earth Celebration 2014, and earned 60,641 yen from many benevolent participants. We can finally announce that the donation was sent to the Red Cross Sado Branch. Again, thank you very much for your donation.

Numerous items were handed in to our “Lost & Found.” If you lost something at EC this year, please email the Earth Celebration Committee. Replies will be sent from September 1st on.

Weather is looking great for tonight’s Shiroyama Concert. So, come one, come all to the second night of Earth Celebration, with special guest BLUE TOKYO!

As many of you might have heard, this past Thursday, August 20th, there was a terriblelandslideon the outskirts of Hiroshima City. The Earth Celebration Committee has set up donation boxes at the ECInformation Centreand at the Information Tent at the Shiroyama Concert venue for the victims of this disaster. Donations will be given to the victims via the Red Cross Sado Branch. We appreciate any donations you are able to make.
