Lodging in the Ogi area fills up quickly for EC, so be sure to make your reservations early. You can call the Sado Tourism Association （in Japanese or English） to help you find an available room. Please note that some lodges offer only shared rooms and/or no meal service during EC.

Homestay at a Farm house

Sobama Campgrounds
There are many campgrounds on Sado Island where one can enjoy nature, but the Sobama Camground, which is located closest to the Earth Celebration Theatre, is on one of the few sandy bathing beaches on the island and boasts crystal clear waters. Round-trip buses leave from the EC Information Centre for Sobama Beach every hour. The campgrounds are right on, or very near the beach, so this is a great place to swim, barbeque and enjoy the summertime on Sado. Tent rentals are also available. Please check in with the campground office before your pitch your tent.
