A. Sea Kayaking Experience

Introduction

Let’s go paddling and enjoy the dynamic natural life of Ogi Peninsula. The ever-popular Sea Kayaking Experience is a great adventure and perfect way to appreciate the clear and beautiful water of the Japan Sea. Even if you are a beginner, don’t worry! An experienced instructor will guide you through the excursion.

 

Date & Time
  • Aug. 21（Fri） 9:40–12:30, 13:10–16:00
  • Aug. 22（Sat） 9:40–12:30, 13:10–16:00
  • Aug. 23（Sun） 9:40–12:30, 13:10–16:00
Participation Fee 5,000 yen（Transport costs and tax included.）
Requirements Open to ages 11 & older. Elementary school students must be accompanied by an adult.
Capacity 20 people per session
Itinerary
（1）
  • 9:40 Meet at Marine Plaza Ogi, registration
  • 10:00 Travel by bus
  • 10:15–11:45 Sea kayak experience, travel back by bus
  • 12:30 Drop off at Marine Plaza Ogi
（2）
  • 13:10 Meet at Marine Plaza Ogi, registration
  • 13:30 Travel by bus
  • 13:45–15:15 Sea kayak experience, travel back by bus
  • 16:00 Drop off at Marine Plaza Ogi
Cooperation Ogi Diving Center
What to bring（required） Bathing suit, clothing to wear over bathing suit that can get wet, sandals（shoes that can get wet）, hat, towel, water or other beverage, change of clothes.
Notes
  • Instructions conducted in Japanese only.
  • The tour will go take place rain or shine, however, it may be cancelled due to rough seas.
  • If you are driving your own car or a rental car, you must register at Marine Plaza Ogi at the designated time before going to Ogi Diving Center.
