Introduction
This tour visits a forest that used to be a part of mountains controlled by the Shogunate government. These mountains produced firewood for the gold and silver mines of Sado Island. Here you’ll find cedar trees hundreds of years old. Feel the mysterious power of these twisting ancient cedars.
