Cozy Cafe “Hiyoriyama” Now Open on Honmachi Street, Ogi
A new cafe, “Hiyoriyama,” is now open on the main shopping street in Ogi, host to the main Earth Celebration events. The shop is located within a beautifully renovated 100-year-old house and specializes in coffee and tenugui (cotton Japanese towels). As well as great coffee, they also serve homemade sweets, spicy curry, and Nagoya-style Azuki beans on toast. The owner hails from Aichi Prefecture and has been a regular at Earth Celebration for the last several years, so you may have seen before at her tenugui stall at Harbour Market. This summer, please drop by Hiyoriyama and say hello!
