Announcement for Ticket Sales

Ticket sales at all ticket outlets including Kodo Ticket Service will end on Tuesday, August 20th.

Ticket sales will start again at each EC box office from Thursday, August 22nd as stated below.
■8/22 EC Information Centre(located at Marin Plaza Ogi/13:00〜17:00)
■8/23〜25 Kisaki Shrine(9:00〜 around 19:00)

*Please note that there will be no ticket sale on Wednesday, August 21st.

Takuro Iga to appear in “Sosei” on Saturday night, August 24!

A talented composer, arranger and pianist, Takuro Iga will appear at the second-night Shiroyama Concert, “Sosei” on Saturday, August 24. Mr. Iga has played a collaborative role in the creation of Hiromitsu Agatsuma’s new work and is a pivotal part of the Kodo + Agatsuma Project.

Takuro Iga (Composer, Pianist)
Takuro Iga started playing piano at the age of three. He majored in composition at Kunitachi College of Music, and it was during his college years that he began his carrier as a musician, performing on stage and recording music. In 2006 he won the Grand Prix at the Asakusa Jazz Contest in the solo-player category. Currently he plays piano and synthesizer at live houses throughout the Tokyo area as he continues to be explore composition, arrangement and recording projects. Takuro Iga Official Website

EC Liner Bus: bus stop relocation

The bus stop for the EC Liner Buses leaving Ogi 30 minutes after Shiroyama Concerts and again at 23:00 will be moved to a new location. This change applies to EC Liner Buses bound for Aikawa via Sawata and to Ryotsu via Mano. The bus stop was originally located in front of the EC Info Centre. The new bus stop will be in the Rikiya Kanko parking, across the street from EC Info Centre and next to Harbour Market on Shiroyama Park side.

Other EC special buses listed below will leave from the bus stop near the EC Info Centre as originally planned.

Postmark your letters home with a memorial stamp!

You can have letters mailed at the Ogi Shukunegi Post Office from August 22-26 postmarked with a special Earth Celebration stamp. They will also be operating at a stall in the Harbour Market from August 23-25.
