Schoolhouse Sake Brewery Tour & Sado Sake Tasting

The local favorite Obata Sake Brewery has taken on the challenge of opening a “schoolhouse brewery” on the campus of the former Nishimikawa Elementary School. For this visit, participants will tour the brewery and taste the sake brewed on the premises.

Since this is a sake tasting, participants must be 21 or over.

14:40 Register and gather at Schoolhouse Brewery
14:40-16:00 Brewery tour, sake tasting, respond to survey, dismissal

Transportation from Ogi

Getting there
14:00 Board local bus on the Ogi line headed toward Sawata at Marine Plaza Ogi bus stop
14:30 Disembark at Nishimikawa bus stop (5 minute walk to the venue)

Getting back
16:30 Board local bus on the Ogi line headed toward Ogi at the Nishimikawa bus stop
17:03 Disembark at Marine Plaza Ogi bus stop

What to bring (required)

Comfortable walking shoes, adjustable layers of clothing for varying temperatures, rain gear in the case of rain, drink

Notes

This program will be carried out in the case of rain.
Participants taking the local bus to the site from Ogi must bring their own bus fare. (Each way 30 minutes, 600 yen)

Those with cars or rental cars may meet the group directly at Schoolhouse Brewery. At the time of registration, please make note that you will be meeting the group on-site.
