Exadon is a made-up word meaning Exercise + Sado + Don (the sound of taiko). Taiko drumming is a combination of aerobic exercise and intellectual engagement that can be enjoyed by the young and old, men and women alike.
A hands-on workshop on katsugi taiko, led by Kodo’s Masayuki Sakamoto. Participants will learn to play on three original Kodo instruments: the Kanade, Shimejishi and Hibiki. Come play taiko at EC – it will be a summer you’ll never forget!
Passed down for generations on the island, Ogi Okesa is the original folk song on which the famous“Sado Okesa” is based. Come join the circle and enjoy a special session of dance that you can only experience here on Sado.
