Nibo area is home to the Crested Ibis, and the residents here have developed farming methods to protect their habitat. Enjoy this relaxing day in a typical Sado fashion: take a stroll through the beautiful satoyama landscapes and taste the local soba noodles produced by the buckwheat harvested in this region.

Experience life on a farm by staying overnight in a farmhouse inn! The Kanai area is in the center of the island near Sado’s satoyama landscapes. The host is a unique family enjoying life on a farm. Your visit to Sado isn’t complete without experiencing everyday life as an island farmer.
- The dismissal location for ‘Taste Hand-made Soba Noodles in the Home of the Crested Ibis’ (Sado City Hall Nibo Administration Service Center) is located 15~20 minutes away by car from the meeting location for ‘Overnight Stay in a Traditional Sado Home’ (Sado City Hall Kanai Main Building, or participants can meet directly at lodging)
